Hi, I’m Dion.

I am a United Kingdom born, Canadian Rocky Mountain based nationally accredited and recognized professional fine art landscape Photographer.

I have been behind a lens in a professional capacity for nearly 20 years and have a deep passion for adventure and world travel. I have always been emotionally connected to the mountain ranges of Kananaskis Country and Banff National Park and the rainforests of Vancouver Island. I am both proud and fortunate to call this area my home, and, where I collect most of my images.

My focus is a fine art representation of our stunning mountain ranges, high alpine peaks and western ocean coasts. You’ve probably noticed that I have my own unique interpretation of how I like to display my work.

I try to evoke imagination, inspiration and a sense of drama from my work. I also try to build a sense of interpretation as to what it must be like in the high alpine during winter storms, cloud inversions and dramatic weather and environmental conditions.

My work can be very unique maybe in comparison to other alpine photography you may see, however, I think it has a place in this community, and I’m always excited to share my stories of what I experienced when I took that photo.
